Business Turnarounds – an Interim Assignment: what is the process and what lessons have been learned?

When a business is struggling with growth or in financial distress, a change in thinking and strategy is often required. The stakes are high, urgency prevails and there is often not a lot of time (or cash) usually left to find a solution. So where do you start and what is the plan?

Our presenter brings years of practical experience in solving complex business problems and restructuring and turnarounds of ASX divisions, SME and family businesses in multiple industries. Working with Boards and management, Keith has led multiple projects in interim roles developing and implementing strategic solutions in turnarounds, M&A integrations and operational improvements. Parallel to this, Keith develops and mentors Boards, Directors and management through these assignments.

Keith will outline the process, principles and methodologies gained from experienced-based insights from recent turnaround projects, and integrates key learnings from recent AIEA presenters in managing transformational change.
